Descend To Rise present raw and chaotic Screamo-Core with a melodic
note and a positive message.
The current band line-up has been around since the middle of 2001 and
the band developed a sound that defies
all simple definitions.
Their music is characterized by powerful guitars, distorted bass and
intensive screamed vocals combined with catchy
melodies. Comparable bands ad influences include bands like Norma Jean,
As I Lay Dying and Killswitch Engage.
Descend To Rise put out an untitled D.I.Y. demo CD in November of 2002,
followed up by a contribution to the "Songs To Set Hearts On Fire"
compilation in 2003 (Guideline Records). In 2005 the band contribute 2
songs to the "Blood Culture" compilation.
Descend to Rise has gained a lot of experience since their beginnings
in 2001 and will release their first MINI-CD as part of the Guideline
Demo Series. "Standing at this safe place... we watched the world fall"
was recorded at Tin Roof Studio and will be released in early 2006
